Job Description:
A Computer Operator in a store manages daily inventory, processes sales data, and maintains computer systems to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities include accurate data entry, tracking stock levels, generating sales reports, troubleshooting hardware/software, and coordinating with departments for smooth inventory flow.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Data Management: Tracking receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods; updating stock levels in systems.
System Operation: Operating POS (Point of Sale) terminals, running batch processing jobs, and performing routine maintenance.
Data Entry & Reporting: Accurately entering data into computer systems and generating regular sales/stock reports.
Troubleshooting: Fixing common hardware and software glitches, and performing basic network troubleshooting.
