A Wholesale Sales Executive drives revenue by acquiring new retail or institutional clients, managing existing accounts, and moving high volumes of bulk products. They handle everything from lead generation and price negotiation to order processing and payment collections. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Core Responsibilities
  • Prospecting & Lead Gen: Identify potential B2B buyers (e.g., retailers, local shops, restaurants, institutions) through cold calling, field visits, and networking. [1]
  • Sales & Negotiation: Present product catalogs, pitch bulk pricing, negotiate contracts, and close sales to meet monthly and quarterly targets. [1, 2, 3]
  • Account Management: Build strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat orders and prevent customer churn. [1, 2, 3]
  • Order Processing: Coordinate with the dispatch and warehousing teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of wholesale goods. [1, 2]
  • Payment Collection: Ensure timely payments, handle billing issues, and manage any pending accounts receivables per company policy. [1, 2]
  • Market Intelligence: Gather feedback on competitor pricing, product availability, and shifting consumer demand trends in your region. [1, 2]
Key Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of proven experience in B2B sales, wholesale, or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods).
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation, customer relationship management, and communication skills.
  • Technical: Comfort with using a smartphone for reporting, basic office software (Excel/Word), and CRM tools.
