Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

  • 2 to 4 years of work experience in Financial Service Industry or related sales experience 
  • Familiarity with wealth planning and/or financial planning concepts
  • Life & Health license (highly preferred)
  • FINRA Licensing\: SIE, Series 6, Series 63 (required)

Skills

Client Relationship Management\: Knowledge of client relationship; ability to address issues critical issues to meet client needs and maintain engaged, partnering relationship with business partners and clients.

Knowledge of Product Line: Knowledge of methodologies, tools and techniques for specific products; ability to develop product line processes and strategies.

Lead Generation: Knowledge of principles, approaches and tools used in generating leads; ability to develop, deploy and implement lead generation program.

Selling\: Knowledge of diverse sales tools, tactics and techniques and ability to use these to persuade a person to buy a product or service.

This Senior Life Internal Wholesaler- Asset Location Specialist role designed to help you learn the business while simultaneously adding value to the lives and businesses of our customers. The job itself is designed to increase asset location sales and strengthen client relationships through proactive sales calls, inbound phone activity, case design (illustrations), emails and webinars. Asset Location Specialists partner with a Regional Vice President (External Wholesaler) in the field and are responsible for driving activity and sales as a team.

Our wholesaling teams focus on Asset Location – the strategic use of different tax buckets to improve overall tax efficiency, especially in retirement. Permanent life insurance can play a key role as the tax-free bucket within this strategy. Asset Location Specialists partner with their RVP to demonstrate the concept to advisors and show how life insurance can complement traditional investment portfolios through tax-advantaged accumulation and potential tax-free access to policy values.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing a full understanding of Asset Location, the value it presents to a client’s financial plan, and the ability to present and tie the concept into advisor conversations.
  • Providing an exceptional customer experience with the mindset of going above and beyond with every client interaction we have.
  • In conjunction with your Regional Vice President, displaying ownership of your sales pipeline with an understanding of what’s required to move things forward.
  • Acting as a liaison between our home office and Regional Vice Presidents, helping to coordinate strategy, share insights, and strengthen relationships.
  • Delivering Quality phone conversations daily.
  • Collaborating with Regional Vice Presidents to build tailored business plans that support territory growth and drive sales results.
  • Providing inbound sales desk support, answering questions from financial professionals about products, sales concepts, marketing materials, and positioning strategies.
  • Participating and actively engaging in sales desk campaigns and targeted marketing efforts.
  • Achieving over 100% of annual sales goal.


     

This position offers a flexible work schedule\: it may be fully remote/hybrid. If you are located near one of our offices (e.g., Charlotte, NC; New York, NY; Syracuse, NY), a hybrid schedule with 2–3 days on-site per week is expected to foster collaboration and connection.

The base salary for this position is $60,000. This role is eligible for variable compensation.
