Department Overview

The Private Wealth Americas (“PWA”) Team is a component of the Investor Partners Group (“IPG”) that is responsible for the equity and debt fundraising activities of the Firm. PWA focuses on delivering compelling investment solutions and gold-standard client service to the private wealth market via wirehouses, regional broker-dealers, private banks, registered investment advisors and other intermediaries. PWA oversees sales and marketing, business development, relationship management and business operations specific to the private wealth channel in North and South America. The team collaborates closely with other departments to develop and execute fundraising and client service initiatives in line with the Firm’s objectives.

Position Responsibilities

The candidate will work closely with PWA’s external sales team to support the distribution of Golub Capital’s products.

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Partnering with external wholesalers to support business development efforts and drive sales activity across wirehouses, broker-dealers and RIAs
  • Conducting outbound sales calls, email campaigns and virtual meetings with advisors to generate leads and identify sales opportunities
  • Sourcing and qualifying new advisor relationships while supporting the expansion of existing client relationships
  • Assisting external wholesalers with pipeline management, meeting preparation, follow-up activities and ongoing relationship management
  • Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of Golub Capital’s product offerings and competitive positioning
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline, meeting and prospect information within the Firm’s CRM
  • Delivering Gold Standard client service to prospects and clients

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years of experience in an internal wholesaler, sales support or business development role within asset management
  • Experience with wirehouse, broker-dealer and RIA sales channels is required
  • Understanding of alternative investments and / or private credit preferred
  • Experience working within a CRM database
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage AI tools in day-to-day work, with strong critical thinking to assess accuracy, limitations and appropriate use of AI generated outputs
  • Ability to multi-task, problem solve and adapt to changing priorities
  • Client-centric approach, dedicated to delivering outstanding client experiences and solutions
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented sales environment where information sharing and collaboration are essential for success
  • Ability to maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Series 7 and Series 63 required
  • Enthusiastic about working in office and creating a Gold Standard hybrid work culture

Compensation and Benefits

For New York Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $150,000 to $175,000 for a Senior Associate and $125,000 to $150,000 for an Associate. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an ‘at-will position’ and the Firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance, Firm or individual department / team performance and market factors.
