We are searching for an experienced External Wholesaler based in the Ohio/Western Pennsylvania area to expand our experienced team. The primary role of the External Wholesaler is to partner with their internal Wholesaler and other staff to build strong selling relationships with Financial Professionals. You are responsible for raising assets in your assigned territory, given our ever-expanding suite of Unit Investment Trusts (UITs)..
Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with Financial Advisors through meetings and outbound calls
- Assist financial professionals in finding solutions to their clients’ financial concerns and goals
- Partner with an experienced internal sales force to grow a regional and national footprint
- Respond knowledgably to inbound product, sales, and service requests.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with key decision makers, including senior management, to grow and build your region and business
- Participate in sales idea roundtable discussions and feedback sessions.
- Track prospects and existing relationships through a sales process using the organization's internal Customer Relationship Management platform.
- Work with the internal wholesaler to establish an effective advisor meeting schedule
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with individual investment advisors while providing sales support
- Help investment advisors increase their business by updating them on current marketing materials, generating and communicating sales ideas, and informing them of upcoming webinars/seminars in their area.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Series 7 license
- 3 years of wholesaling experience preferred
- Strong financial industry and capital markets knowledge
- Strong customer relationship management and servicing skills
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to present effectively over the phone, combined with strong written communication skills.

- Excellent interpersonal, relationship management, and organizational skills
- Enthusiastic and results-oriented
- Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

The base salary range for this trainee position is $80,000.00 per year, plus variable compensation. Please note this role requires in-person attendance.
Placement in the range will vary based on performance throughout the training period.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the position includes variable compensation and benefits including health benefits and 401(k) plan.
