Hybrid Wholesaler- Direct Channel

Job Description

The Hybrid Wholesaler will be responsible for supporting, developing, and implementing Sales and Marketing strategies in conjunction with their Independent and Financial partners within their assigned territories to increase sales of United Life products to meet or exceed goals. This position is base ($65-75k) + commission.


Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to

·         Partner with Internal Sales and the Sales Desk to identify and develop relationships with and increase sales from assigned territory to achieve premium goals.

·         Establish and cultivate relationships with assigned Advisors / Producers through regular contact to develop and drive sales while enhancing relationships.

·         Make proactive phone calls to learn about the producers’ business and help them match the appropriate United Life products to meet the needs of their clients.

·         Conduct proactive telephone and webinar sales presentations highlighting United Life products and value proposition.

·         Drive attendance to company sponsored events/meetings and provide consistent and timely follow up with attendees in an effort to uncover new sales.

·         Play a key role in the onboarding of new Producers.

·         Utilize sales and marketing skills to identify and rank producers to determine the priority of contacting them with focused efforts on increased sales and consistent growth.

·         Respond to calls and email correspondence from producers to provide support on products, sales and marketing materials, product education and sales concepts.

·         Generate ideas and help create content for emails and messaging to producers, marketing materials and presentations.

·         Analyze sales data within the territory to identify trends and new opportunities.

·         Maintain knowledge of competitor products and the competitive advantages of United Life products to share with producers and other team members.

·         Track daily activity and field interactions in company CRM

·         Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

Experience

·         Bachelor’s and/or 5+ years of relevant work experience preferred

·         3-5 years of life insurance and annuity sales experience as an agent, agency marketing/sales professional or carrier marketing/sales professional

·         Life license

  • Ability to travel overnight 15%- 25% or as needed.
