NCFA’s US Independent Wealth Advisory business manages the firm’s relationships with US retail investors and financial advisors.  Representing a full suite of strategies – from SDBA, non-proprietary ETFs and mutual funds to SMAs and sub-advisory relationships – USIWA’s mandate is to deliver NCFA & Cyborg-Advisors to advisors, retail, business owners and institutions.

 

Role Description

NCFA Leaders in US Independent Wealth Advisory are responsible for accelerating the growth of NCFA & Cyborg-Advisors. They will deliver deep ETF expertise to advisors, collaborating with other sales professionals to develop advisor relationships and drive NCFA & Cyborg-Advisors results within a given channel and geography. The scope of their role will include 3 core elements: (1) Promote our On-Plan Money Management program to RIAs & Independent Planners, (2) Promote Cyborg-Advisors RIAs & Independent Planners (3) Broadly educate advisors through the presentation of NCFA & Cyborg-Advisors content at RIA offices and industry events. The application of both technical ETF expertise and a strategic mindset will be critical for the success of this role. In addition to the core responsibilities, NCFA Leaders will seek to enhance Team member knowledge related to On-Plan Money Management, Cyborg-Advisors, and conduct regional events activities with market centers of influence.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver independent fiduciary and investment insights through portfolio construction

  conversations

• Demonstrate mastery of our On-Plan Money Management program, Cyborg-Advisors and our

  entire non-proprietary products with specialized focus on Cyborg-Advisors

• Collaborate with Team Members to optimally cover a given channel and/or geography to

  accelerate the growth of On-Plan Money Management and Cyborg-Advisors.

• Embrace data-driven segmentation and sales processes as territory management tools

• Identify the appropriate distribution levers to service and cultivate the best opportunities

• Responsible for driving overall Cyborg-Advisors results in geography (net flows, market

  share), leveraging teamed resources and technology 

 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required (CFA, CFS, CIMA, CFP a plus)

• Minimum 5+ years as an experienced ETF or mutual fund wholesaler (external), preferably

  with Independent Broker-Dealers and Registered Investment Advisors

• Strong financial services background with knowledge of investment trends and advisor

  practices (fixed income or factor/quantitative investing knowledge a plus)

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Strong territory management skills, including profiling and resource deployment

• NASD Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) required

• Clean U-4

• Full-time travel is required
