POSITION:
  • Business Development US Offshore. The position will be part of the Intermediaries distribution business of the company, reporting to the Head of US intermediaries, the candidate will be based in Miami. You will be part of a fast growing and successful business
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
  • Responsible for sales and marketing activities of Wellington Management UCITs fund range in the US offshore market with initial focus in Miami, working closely with the US Country Head and the Head of Intermediaries Distribution business
MAIN GOALS
  • Drive efforts to increase market share for UCITs and traditional alternative investment products
  • Raise Wellington brand awareness and position the firm as one of the leading institutional asset managers among established competitors in the US offshore marke
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Undergraduate degree with a focus on business, finance, economics, or a related field of study highly desirable
  • MBA or master’s degree in finance or equivalent field of study highly preferred
  • 3+ years of sales experience in internal or external sales capacity
  • Self-starter
  • Strong interpersonal, writing and communication skills; Ability to develop relationships and financial professional network
  • Candidates should have strong investment knowledge and should be able to eloquently express market views
  • Advanced analytical skills and understanding of investment concepts
  • Service oriented and client driven
  • Flexible to changes in work environment and able to travel for business
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US
  • Series 7 and 63 required or obtainable within 6 months of hire
