Position Description/Background:
A successful candidate will possess superior communication skills, solid organizational skills, strong analytical skills as well as a passion for developing impactful client relationships. They will have a clear understanding of the sales process, the ability to effectively prioritize and knowledge of the capital markets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing financial advisors in order to market Crossmark’s products, as well as identify new sales opportunities within their territory to meet sales goals
- Raise and retain assets within a geographic territory by making proactive phone calls to financial advisors to share sales ideas, provide product information, gather marketing data and offer sales support
- Deliver effective presentations to promote Crossmark products, services and competitive advantages
- Develop and implement a business plan and sales strategy with Regional Vice President (external wholesaler), and sales leadership
Qualifications:
- Series 6 or 7, Series 66 (or equivalent) required
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 1 year sales experience preferably within the financial services industry
- Demonstrated relationship management skills, including the ability to work in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Salesforce or equivalent CRM experience preferred
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a changing fast paced high call volume environment, with enthusiasm and a positive attitude
Pay Type: $75,000 - $85,000 Base Salary + Commissions
