Position Description/Background:

In this role, the Regional Vice President (External Wholesaler) will be responsible for calling on financial advisors to drive sales and increase assets under management within their assigned territory through a consultative approach.

A successful person will possess superior communication skills, solid organizational skills, strong analytical skills, as well as a passion for developing impactful advisor and client relationships. They will have a clear understanding of the sales process, the ability to effectively prioritize, and a working knowledge of the capital markets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with financial advisors in order to market Crossmark’s products, as well as identify new sales opportunities within their geographic territory.
  • Raise and retain assets within a geographic territory by developing meaningful relationships via virtual and in-person engagements with financial advisors to share sales ideas, provide product information, and and attend industry events.
  • Deliver effective presentations to promote Crossmark products, services and competitive advantages.
  • Develop and implement a business plan and sales strategy for their geographic territory.  

Qualifications:

  • Series 6 or 7, Series 63 and Series 65 (or equivalent) required.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Advanced certification (e.g., CFA, CIMA, etc.) preferred.
  • 5+ years of industry sales experience required.
  • Experience calling on Wirehouse, Regional, and Independent financial consultants.
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills, including the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to travel (75% or more)
  • Established advisor relationships in the territory preferred.

Compensation: $100,000 Annual Base Salary + Commissions
