We’re looking for a Channel Specialist Wholesalers, this role is responsible for leading the strategic agenda in Wholesale channel, seeking to meet the commercial and financial goals of the company to ensure long-term sustainability. The position requires strategic planning, persuasion skills, the ability to develop financial models that aim to achieve business profitability and a 360-degree view of the entire value chain to be able to sustain conversations with different Stakeholders. Finally, the position requires the ability to coordinate activities in multiple markets and functional areas.
Principal Accountabilities
Business Development
- Development of strategies that support the continuous improvement of Market, Service, Productivity and Planning, Development, and Implementation of Key Projects of the channel.
- Lead the construction of the strategic framework of the WHS channel seeking.
- Adequate segmentation (Internal & External insights).
- RTM models appropriate to each zone.
- Explore information tools to leverage operating model.
Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with the Commercial team the strategic plans of the Sales area (Short & Long term).
Financial Performance
- Accountable for CTS administration (WHS Channel) through meeting to Business Review with internal & external Stakeholders.
Market Execution Oversight
- Ensure effective market execution to the market through the sales team, with responsibility of monitoring performance and taking corrective strategic action as required.
Data Analysis and Insights
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to gain insights into market trends, competitor activities and use this information to refine commercial strategies and partnerships.
Business Development
- Monitor, develop, execute, and control action plans based on business opportunities (Productivity, Profitability and Development).
Business Development
- Generate new alternatives associated with technological tools that allow to improve working conditions and quality of information for sales processes.
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s in business administration, Finance or Marketing.
- 6+ years’ experience in areas of sale and / or distribution in companies of massive consumption.
- 3+ years’ experience in the wholesale channel management.
- Specific knowledge: Strategic planning, knowledge operating model wholesale channel in Colombia, Sales Intelligence, Management Models, Strategic Thinking, Business Development, Market expertise, Financial Acumen, Leadership and team management, Data Insights, Negotiation, and influence, Problem Solving, Innovation and adaptability, Result orientation, Networking.
