We are working with a phenomenal fixed income and alternative SMA/fund manager. They have a long track record in their space with unique strategies, and phenomenal performance. One of their key strategies is not only a 5-star rated fund but a top 1% performer in its class since inception. They are looking to hire qualified wholesalers in the southwest, more specifically Los Angeles, Arizona, Utah, or Denver.
Ideally, we want to see candidates that have experience and a prior track record of wholesaling alternative mutual funds or fixed income products. Their current selling group is focused on RIA's, independents, and then a wirehouse or two. Having experience within those channels, particularly the RIA's, is a huge plus. In terms of licensing, you must have a Series 7, 65/66, and a clean U4 (no exceptions).
Compensation will include a base salary around $150k, bps on sales, and a discretionary bonus. You will have benefits and an expense budget (ideal travel time is an average of 3 days a week).
