The successful Senior Internal Consultant (Wholesaler) candidate must possess the skills to discuss and represent Meeder’s investment solutions to Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and Registered Representatives. Utilizing a consultative approach, the candidate must effectively provide investment solutions across Mutual Funds, Managed Account Solutions, and SMAs. Additionally, he or she must demonstrate a high level of proactive daily activity. The successful candidate must be a self-starter and team player.
*Ideal candidate preferred to be based out of Columbus, Ohio, however, open to exceptional candidates based remotely.
Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with Regional (External) Consultant to manage territory to attain both sales and revenue goals.
- Conduct various phone calls with financial advisors, including prospecting, scheduling, product information, and sales and marketing campaign calls.
- Articulate investment solutions and strategies and discuss financial markets (domestic and international).
- Identify and support sales opportunities and advisor needs, advance relationships, and introduce new concepts.
- Work with various departments/individuals within the organization to provide exceptional service and support to our Financial Advisors.
- Handle daily territory management tasks, including client prospecting, CRM management, servicing clients and expanding relationships by cross-selling appropriate products and/or services and serving as a point of contact for Meeder Funds, ensuring compliance with industry and legal regulations and best practices, and adherence to company processes and procedures.

- Proven client-focused consultative sales approach, including ability to listen to clients/prospects needs and help identify and present appropriate solutions.

- Demonstrate a strong ability to manage your responsibilities and the discipline to meet your goals.
- Solid understanding of capital markets and how to effectively translate this knowledge into discussions with advisors.
